Samsung is seeking experienced HSE Supervisor / Engineers for Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to support projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
HSE Supervisor / Engineer – Mechanical
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures across mechanical activities.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support commissioning activities while ensuring HSE compliance.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
HSE Supervisor / Engineer – Electrical
- Monitor electrical commissioning and construction activities for HSE compliance.
- Conduct hazard identification and safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with engineering and commissioning teams.
- Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with extensive relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE professional.
- Proven experience in UAE or Middle East power plants, including simple-cycle or combined-cycle power plants, industrial plants, water-treatment facilities, or the petrochemical industry.
- Experience in HSE commissioning activities is preferred.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and/or a nationally recognized safety certification.
- Previous experience working with Korean companies is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
