Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a leading organization in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a 3-month extendable contract. This role is ideal for data engineering professionals with strong expertise in Informatica, Microsoft Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data architecture. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade ETL/ELT pipelines while supporting data ingestion, transformation, quality management, and governance across Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers). Working closely with Data Architects and business stakeholders, you will deliver scalable and secure data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and modeling.
• Build and manage data pipelines using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers).
• Configure and administer Informatica solutions, including IICS, PowerCenter, and Secure Agent.
• Implement and maintain Data Quality (DQ) rules using Azure Purview.
• Monitor and track data quality remediation activities.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to implement target data models.
• Onboard and integrate new source systems into enterprise data platforms.
• Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, transformation logic, and governance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, audit, and security requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
