Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, project specifications, and company policies.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Issue and monitor work permits in accordance with project safety procedures.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE awareness programs and safety training for project personnel.
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE standards and legal requirements.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and regulatory records.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across infrastructure and construction projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in contracting and infrastructure projects.
• OSHA Certification is mandatory.
• NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.
• Strong experience in implementing occupational health and safety standards.
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and issuing work permits.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations, hazard identification, and incident prevention.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Additional HSE, environmental management, or safety certifications are considered an advantage.
