Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications.
• Build high-performance microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Design scalable distributed system architectures.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and development teams.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
• Follow software engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Candidates must currently be based in the Netherlands.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and Swagger.
• Experience within Online Payments or Acquiring domain.
