Job Overview
A qualified Electrical Engineer is required for an RO Plant Project in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The position is suited to an experienced electrical engineering professional with approximately 8–12 years of experience in industrial projects, preferably within reverse osmosis (RO), water treatment, or wastewater treatment facilities.
The Electrical Engineer will support and supervise electrical installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities while coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams. The role requires strong knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) systems, medium- and low-voltage systems, industrial electrical equipment, automation, and instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation activities for the RO Plant project.
- Coordinate electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety requirements.
- Coordinate electrical activities with multidisciplinary construction and commissioning teams.
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
- Support commissioning and start-up activities.
- Review electrical systems and identify technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Prepare technical reports and relevant project documentation.
- Support project handover and close-out activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, instrumentation, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure electrical work is completed according to approved project procedures and standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 8–12 years of experience in industrial projects.
- Experience in RO Plants, water treatment, or wastewater treatment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems.
- Experience in electrical installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of:
- MV/LV systems
- Transformers
- Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- PLCs
- Instrumentation and Control Systems
- Ability to read and interpret Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Ability to understand control schematics.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Relevant professional electrical certifications or commissioning training would be advantageous.
