Job Overview

GISCO is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers and Electrical Supervisors to join its MEP Electrical division in Abu Dhabi. The positions are focused on projects and construction activities involving high-voltage electrical systems, substations, and power distribution infrastructure.

The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience with HV electrical systems, particularly 11kV and 33kV power distribution. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities for project and construction works.
• Execute and monitor HV electrical installation activities involving 11kV and 33kV systems.
• Support electrical testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate substation and power distribution installation works.
• Ensure electrical construction activities comply with approved safety procedures.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable technical and industry standards.
• Monitor installation quality and system performance.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues during construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with project, construction, MEP, and technical teams.
• Ensure operational requirements are effectively managed to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain relevant technical and project documentation.
• Support site inspections and verification of electrical installation works.
• Promote safe working practices throughout electrical construction activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Electrical Engineer

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• UAE experience is required, preferably within the Abu Dhabi region.
• Strong experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Proven experience with HV 11kV and 33kV power systems.
• Experience with substations and power distribution projects.
• Experience in new electrical installation and construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and industry standards.
• Ability to manage operational requirements related to electrical systems.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Electrical Supervisor

• Relevant electrical engineering or technical qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical projects and construction.
• Substation experience.
• Strong experience with HV electrical systems, particularly 11kV and 33kV.
• Experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise electrical construction activities effectively.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Availability
