Job Overview

An award-winning MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience using Primavera P6, combined with a strong background in main or general contracting and MEP projects.

Experience working on data centre projects is required, along with a strong understanding of project controls, planning, scheduling, and MEP construction activities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Support project controls activities across MEP and construction projects.
• Coordinate project planning activities with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Track project progress and identify potential schedule risks and delays.
• Support schedule forecasting and project performance monitoring.
• Analyze project timelines and provide planning updates to project management.
• Maintain accurate project controls documentation and reports.
• Coordinate planning activities within data centre and MEP project environments.
• Support recovery and mitigation planning where project delays occur.
• Contribute to effective project execution through accurate planning and schedule control.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls or project planning.
• Strong hands-on experience using Primavera P6.
• Main contracting or general contracting background is required.
• MEP project experience is required.
• Data centre project experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• Experience monitoring project progress, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Candidates should be available to mobilize within approximately 4–8 weeks.
