Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant with a background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry to join the Finance team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will contribute to effective accounts receivable operations, supporting accurate financial records, timely collections, and efficient financial processes within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable activities and customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial and customer records.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and support timely collection activities.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers regarding invoices and payment matters.
• Support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure accounts receivable processes are completed in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist the Finance team with other accounting and financial activities as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting position.
• FMCG industry experience is required or strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
• Good numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
• Relevant accounting certification or professional qualification would be an advantage.
