Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a technology team in Bucharest, Romania, working in a hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance Java applications.
• Architect and develop scalable microservices and enterprise solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and architectural decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Expert knowledge of:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring Framework
  • Hibernate
  • JPA
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong expertise in relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong SQL optimization skills.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, or event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Strong knowledge of clean architecture and software engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring developers and supporting technical knowledge sharing.

Preferred Skills

• Banking or financial services experience.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
