We are urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team for long-term construction projects in Qatar. This opportunity is suited to a senior mechanical engineering professional with 10+ years of experience working with an MEP construction company in Qatar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing MEP mechanical systems, site execution, testing and commissioning, and project coordination. The role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage site activities while coordinating effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical MEP construction activities on project sites.
• Coordinate mechanical installation and site execution activities.
• Monitor MEP works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Support testing and commissioning of mechanical and MEP systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical activities are completed according to project schedules.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related mechanical issues.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, plumbing, civil, and other project disciplines.
• Ensure MEP construction activities comply with applicable quality and safety requirements.
• Manage site resources and coordinate manpower and materials as required.
• Prepare and maintain relevant project and site documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on mechanical systems.
• Support timely project delivery and effective MEP construction execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Qatar.
• Experience working with an MEP construction company is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of MEP mechanical systems.
• Strong experience in site execution and construction activities.
• Practical experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Strong project coordination and site management capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant professional engineering certifications and technical training are advantageous.
