Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall mechanical commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
• Prepare commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
• Ensure mechanical systems and equipment are properly inspected, tested, commissioned, and started up.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical and commissioning issues.
• Ensure commissioning activities comply with approved procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor commissioning progress, manpower, equipment, resources, and schedules.
• Prepare commissioning reports, records, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate system completion and handover activities with the client.
• Ensure commissioning documentation is complete and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to achieve commissioning milestones.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure all systems are fully operational and ready for project completion.
• Promote safe working practices throughout commissioning activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial commissioning role.
• Strong experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Wellhead Jacket experience is mandatory or strongly preferred.
• EPIC project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical commissioning and startup experience.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment testing, commissioning, and startup procedures.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and safe commissioning practices.
• Knowledge of quality control, testing, handover, and completion procedures.
• Strong project coordination, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
