Job Overview

Cinergie Digital is hiring an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager – Airline Systems to lead large-scale technology programmes across airline reservation, inventory, and revenue-management systems.

The role is suited to senior project management professionals with direct experience in airline technology environments, including Passenger Service Systems (PSS), GDS connectivity, revenue management, inventory platforms, EDIFACT/NDC integrations, and complex system migrations.

The successful candidate will manage multiple airline customer engagements, coordinate internal engineering teams and external technology providers, and take ownership of project delivery, budgets, risks, integrations, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of airline reservation and revenue-management projects from scoping and estimation through build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Manage multiple airline customer engagements simultaneously while maintaining requirements, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with third-party solution providers, GDS partners, and technology vendors.
• Establish clear ownership of interfaces, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Oversee system migrations, API integrations, EDIFACT/NDC message flows, and platform enhancements.
• Develop cutover plans, data reconciliation processes, and rollback readiness strategies.
• Maintain project risk registers and formal change-control processes.
• Manage project risks, changes, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure alignment with IATA, PADIS, and NDC standards.
• Plan certification, testing, and compliance activities within project roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements for engineering and product teams.
• Facilitate resolution of differences between business and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor project KPIs, budgets, resources, milestones, and delivery performance.
• Provide clear project reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvements in project delivery methodologies and practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience.
• Experience delivering large enterprise or multi-stakeholder programmes.
• Experience working with fixed regulatory or seasonal deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple customers and vendors concurrently.

Mandatory Technical Experience

• Hands-on experience with airline reservation systems, PSS, GDS connectivity, revenue management, or inventory control platforms.
• Direct airline technology experience is required; adjacent travel-industry experience alone is not sufficient.
• Working knowledge of:
  • EDIFACT
  • NDC
  • API integrations
  • System migration approaches
  • Airline technology platforms
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to select and blend delivery methodologies based on project requirements.
• Strong vendor and partner management experience, including GDS partners.
• Experience managing governance across multiple organizations and technology providers.
• Strong risk, change-control, budget, and programme management capabilities.
• Familiarity with IATA, PADIS, and NDC standards.
