Job Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced IT Program Manager – Infrastructure in Dubai. The role is suited to professionals with 8–12 years of experience in IT program or project management, including significant exposure to large-scale infrastructure programs.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects and workstreams across cloud infrastructure, data centers, networking, servers, storage, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery. The position requires strong expertise in program governance, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale IT infrastructure programs.
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
• Oversee infrastructure initiatives involving cloud, data centers, networking, servers, and storage.
• Coordinate VMware and virtualization-related infrastructure activities.
• Support backup and disaster recovery programs.
• Establish and maintain effective program governance.
• Manage RAID logs, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Support program budgeting and resource planning.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
• Coordinate cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Provide effective program communication, presentations, and reporting.
• Lead negotiations and support strategic program decisions.
• Ensure infrastructure programs remain aligned with business and technical objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in IT Program or Project Management.
• Significant experience in IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure programs.
• Good understanding of:
  • Azure, AWS, or OCI cloud infrastructure
  • Data Centers
  • Networking
  • Servers
  • Storage
  • VMware and virtualization
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Experience managing multiple projects and workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of program governance, RAID management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project/program management certification preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates with academic qualifications from recognized universities in the UK, Canada, or USA.
• Native English speakers and British passport holders are preferred.
