Job Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced IT Developer specializing in Core Banking and Regulatory Reporting within the banking sector in Qatar. The role is suited to professionals with 5–8 years of experience supporting Core Banking systems and a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Reporting projects.

The successful candidate will apply strong technical expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, ETL applications, and Business Objects (BO) Reporting. The role also requires an understanding of Qatar Central Bank regulations and international regulatory frameworks and requirements relevant to financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Core Banking systems.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL solutions for banking applications and reporting requirements.
• Work with Oracle Forms & Reports.
• Support ETL applications and data integration processes.
• Develop and maintain Business Objects (BO) reporting solutions.
• Contribute to Regulatory Reporting projects.
• Support the preparation and delivery of regulatory reporting requirements.
• Work with banking and regulatory data in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Apply knowledge of QCB regulations and relevant international frameworks.
• Collaborate with banking, technology, reporting, and compliance teams.
• Support troubleshooting, system enhancements, and reporting-related technical issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Core Banking system support.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Reporting projects.
• Strong technical expertise in:
  • PL/SQL Development
  • Oracle Forms & Reports
  • ETL Applications
  • Business Objects (BO) Reporting
• Good understanding of:
  • Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations
  • CRS
  • Basel Framework
  • FATF requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
