Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a hands-on FortiSOAR Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) automation and cybersecurity operations. The role is suited to professionals with strong experience in FortiSOAR administration, platform support, playbook development, security orchestration, and operational maintenance.

The successful candidate will independently manage FortiSOAR environments, including user and access management, platform health monitoring, server and node configuration, troubleshooting, backup and restoration, high-availability and failover support, and day-to-day operational maintenance. Strong integration experience across security platforms is required to support effective SOC automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support FortiSOAR environments.
• Manage FortiSOAR users, roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor platform health and operational performance.
• Configure and maintain FortiSOAR servers and nodes.
• Troubleshoot platform and operational issues.
• Support backup and restoration activities.
• Manage high-availability and failover configurations.
• Perform ongoing FortiSOAR operational maintenance.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize FortiSOAR playbooks.
• Automate SOC workflows and security response processes.
• Integrate FortiSOAR with FortiGate and FortiSandbox.
• Integrate security workflows with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Support integrations with FortiSIEM and LogRhythm.
• Integrate EDR/XDR, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve security automation and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with SOC and cybersecurity teams to improve incident-response workflows.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with FortiSOAR administration and platform support.
• Experience developing and optimizing FortiSOAR playbooks.
• Strong understanding of SOC automation and security orchestration.
• Experience with FortiSOAR user and access management.
• Knowledge of platform health monitoring, server/node configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup and restoration procedures.
• Knowledge of HA/failover support and operational maintenance.
• Experience integrating security platforms, including:
  • FortiGate
  • FortiSandbox
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • FortiSIEM
  • LogRhythm
  • EDR/XDR platforms
  • Threat Intelligence platforms
  • Vulnerability Management platforms
• Strong cybersecurity and security operations knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage FortiSOAR environments.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
• NSE 6 – Security Operations or relevant Fortinet certification is preferred.
