Job Overview

Experienced instrumentation professionals are being sought for short-term positions supporting the QE LNG (B) Project in Qatar. The available vacancies cover engineering, quality assurance and quality control, and instrumentation supervision functions within an LNG project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary according to the position and may include:

Engineer – Instrumentation

• Support instrumentation engineering activities for the LNG project.
• Review and coordinate instrumentation-related technical requirements.
• Support site engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with project, construction, and quality teams.
• Assist with technical troubleshooting and resolution of instrumentation issues.
• Ensure instrumentation work follows applicable project specifications and standards.

QA/QC Inspector – Instrumentation

• Inspect instrumentation installation and related project activities.
• Verify work against approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections and identify non-conformities.
• Maintain inspection and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support compliance with project QA/QC procedures.

Supervisor – Instrumentation

• Supervise instrumentation installation and site activities.
• Coordinate daily work activities with instrumentation technicians and project teams.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities follow approved requirements.
• Support safe and efficient execution of instrumentation work.
• Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure quality and project requirements are maintained during execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

General Requirements

• Relevant instrumentation engineering, inspection, or supervision experience.
• Experience in industrial, oil and gas, LNG, or related project environments is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation project activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a site-based project environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.

Engineer – Instrumentation

• Relevant engineering qualification in Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Experience in instrumentation engineering and project execution.
• Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities.

QA/QC Inspector – Instrumentation

• Relevant technical qualification or instrumentation background.
• Experience in instrumentation inspection and QA/QC activities.
• Strong knowledge of inspection procedures and quality documentation.

Supervisor – Instrumentation

• Relevant instrumentation qualification or technical background.
• Experience supervising instrumentation installation and site activities.
• Strong team coordination and site supervision skills.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Salary and compensation for the available positions are as follows:

Working Schedule: 8 hours × 6 days per week

Overtime: Available conditionally, depending on the position.
