Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen the security of enterprise cloud workloads and services in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise securing Microsoft Azure environments, with strong knowledge of identity and access management, encryption, network security, vulnerability management, and cloud security practices.

The role will focus on implementing and maintaining cloud security controls across Azure and multi-cloud environments, while integrating security practices into modern DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will also contribute to cloud security posture management, threat modelling, security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.

This is a 6-month to 1-year contract, extendable, offering opportunities for career growth and professional development in cloud security, DevSecOps, identity management, and multi-cloud security. Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or CCSP can further support long-term professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure Microsoft Azure workloads, services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage identity and access management controls.
• Apply authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Support and manage multi-factor authentication security controls.
• Implement encryption and key management practices.
• Strengthen cloud network security and security controls.
• Conduct and support vulnerability management activities.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines as part of DevSecOps practices.
• Apply relevant security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Support security operations across Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain cloud security posture management practices.
• Conduct threat modelling and identify potential security risks.
• Assess cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and technical teams to improve cloud security.
• Maintain security documentation and support compliance-related activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure workloads and services.
• Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Practical experience with:
  • OAuth 2.0
  • OpenID Connect
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Experience with:
  • Encryption
  • Key management
  • Network security
  • Vulnerability management
• Practical DevSecOps experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and compliance obligations.
• Hands-on cloud security experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on cloud security experience with Oracle Cloud.
• Relevant security certifications, such as:
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • CISSP
  • CCSP
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
• Experience with threat modelling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be currently available in Qatar.
