Job Overview

Convergent Technology is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data center environments, with practical expertise in infrastructure operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and critical facility systems.

The successful candidate will support the reliability and operational performance of data center infrastructure, including UPS systems, cooling systems, power distribution, monitoring systems, and related critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of data center infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance activities across critical data center systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data center infrastructure and equipment.
• Support the operation and maintenance of UPS systems.
• Monitor and maintain cooling and environmental control systems.
• Support power distribution infrastructure and related systems.
• Monitor critical infrastructure through data center monitoring systems.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure and equipment issues.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for technical problems.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to address operational requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, technical support, and issue resolution.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical and operational matters.
• Maintain operational records and relevant technical documentation.
• Support reliable and efficient operation of critical data center infrastructure.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Center environments.
• Practical experience in data center infrastructure, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of critical systems, including:
  • UPS
  • Cooling systems
  • Power distribution
  • Monitoring systems
  • Related data center infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and customers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Relevant technical certifications will be an advantage.
• Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
