Job Overview

A construction and MEP organization in Qatar is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering and site execution activities across construction and MEP projects. The position is open exclusively to candidates currently residing in Qatar, with immediate availability preferred.

The successful candidate will contribute to electrical system execution, technical coordination, site activities, and project delivery. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and practical experience within construction and MEP environments are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate electrical engineering activities on construction and MEP projects.
• Oversee electrical site execution in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical works with project teams and other engineering disciplines.
• Review electrical drawings, technical documentation, and project requirements.
• Monitor electrical installation and construction activities.
• Identify and address site-related technical issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, consultants, and site teams.
• Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved technical requirements.
• Support project planning and timely completion of electrical activities.
• Maintain relevant technical and project documentation.
• Contribute to effective site coordination and project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid UPDA Grade B or C certification is mandatory.
• Strong experience in Construction / MEP projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
• Strong site execution and technical coordination experience.
• Good understanding of construction project requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Must be currently residing in Qatar.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
