Job Overview

Dynex Arabia is seeking a qualified Planning Engineer with strong hands-on fabrication experience to join its Oil & Gas projects team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The position is suited to an engineering professional with 4–10 years of project planning experience and a proven background in heavy fabrication works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. The role will involve tracking fabrication and Oil & Gas project activities, monitoring progress, identifying project bottlenecks, and providing analytical reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Maintain and regularly update project schedules based on actual progress.
• Plan and monitor activities associated with heavy fabrication works.
• Track project planning activities across Oil & Gas projects.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, and potential schedule risks.
• Analyze project performance and prepare progress reports for management.
• Coordinate planning activities with engineering teams.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to align material and procurement schedules.
• Work closely with site execution teams to monitor project progress.
• Maintain accurate planning data and project schedules.
• Support project management with schedule analysis and planning information.
• Contribute to effective project time management and execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 4–10 years of professional project planning experience.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication works is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience with heavy fabrication and Oil & Gas projects.
• Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time-management capabilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.
