Job Overview

A leading company is seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to support interior fit-out projects in Bahrain. The role focuses on MEP coordination, installation, authority compliance, subcontractor supervision, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.

The successful candidates will contribute to the effective delivery of mechanical and electrical systems within interior fit-out environments, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution, and architectural lighting. Strong knowledge of Bahrain codes, authority approvals, and MEP technical documentation is essential.

This position provides an opportunity for experienced engineers to strengthen their career growth in MEP and interior fit-out project execution while developing expertise in technical coordination, site management, compliance, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and resolve MEP and architectural clashes during fit-out works.
• Supervise HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection installations.
• Oversee electrical distribution and architectural lighting installation.
• Ensure compliance with EWA, Civil Defence, and landlord requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site activities.
• Monitor installation quality, progress, and technical compliance.
• Review and interpret MEP schematics and technical drawings.
• Support testing and commissioning of completed MEP systems.
• Conduct snagging activities and coordinate necessary rectification works.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of fit-out activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of interior fit-out site experience.
• Strong knowledge of local Bahrain codes and authority approval requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong site supervision and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Good understanding of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and snagging processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
