Job Overview

Seaworks Company is seeking an experienced Commercial Diver to join its marine construction team in Qatar. The position is suited to candidates with 2–4 years of relevant commercial diving experience and practical exposure to offshore, marine construction, and underwater work environments.

The Diver will support marine construction activities including breakwater and revetment construction, underwater inspection, photography and video recording, and surface-supplied diving operations. Strong knowledge of diving safety procedures, emergency protocols, and marine work practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial diving activities in support of marine construction projects.
• Support breakwater and revetment construction activities.
• Conduct underwater inspections and document underwater conditions.
• Perform underwater photography and video recording as required.
• Support underwater welding and related underwater construction activities.
• Carry out surface-supplied diving operations safely and efficiently.
• Operate a speed boat safely when required for marine operations.
• Follow established diving safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Inspect and maintain diving equipment and report any issues before operations.
• Coordinate effectively with divers, supervisors, and other marine construction personnel.
• Follow project safety requirements and offshore work procedures.
• Contribute to safe and efficient execution of underwater work activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant commercial diving experience.
• IMCA or PADI Diving Certification is mandatory.
• OPITO BOSIET / FOET certification required.
• HUET or equivalent offshore safety certification required.
• Practical experience in breakwater and revetment construction.
• Knowledge of underwater welding, inspection, photography, and video recording.
• Experience with surface-supplied diving operations.
• Ability to safely operate a speed boat.
• Good understanding of marine construction and underwater work practices.
• Strong knowledge of diving safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a marine diving team.
• Candidates must be able to provide relevant diving certificates and supporting documents.
