4. Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Safety Officer to support high-rise building construction projects in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting construction site health, safety, and HSE requirements while helping maintain a safe working environment and compliance with applicable safety procedures.

Candidates must have 2–3 years of high-rise building experience in the UAE with a main contracting company, along with relevant Fire & Safety or Occupational Health & Safety qualifications. This opportunity provides practical exposure to high-rise construction HSE operations, supporting career growth, professional development, and continued safety expertise.

Candidates must currently be inside the UAE and available for a face-to-face interview.

5. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor health, safety, and environmental practices across high-rise construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure workers follow established HSE procedures and safety requirements.
• Support implementation of site safety plans and risk-control measures.
• Report safety observations, incidents, and non-compliance issues to the relevant management team.
• Assist with toolbox talks, safety briefings, and worker awareness activities.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and relevant safety documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and project teams on safety matters.
• Support corrective and preventive actions following safety inspections or incidents.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout construction activities.
• Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with applicable HSE requirements.

6. Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3-Year Diploma in Fire & Safety, attested where applicable.
• NEBOSH IGC or Level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety.
• IOSH certification.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE construction HSE experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of high-rise building experience in the UAE.
• Experience with a main contracting company in Dubai is mandatory.
• Previous visa designation as Safety Officer.
• Maximum one-month notice period.
• Strong knowledge of construction site HSE procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and observation skills.
• Must currently be inside the UAE.
• Must be available for a face-to-face interview.

AED 5,000 – AED 7,000 per month, depending on experience.
