Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Integration Specialist – Lead for a banking client in Oman. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise application integration solutions within a banking environment, with particular emphasis on API development, system architecture, middleware, and service-oriented architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing API solutions, SOA architectures, application and system integrations, ESQL and Java solutions, IBM WebSphere technologies, and SOAP/RESTful integrations. Strong banking-domain experience is mandatory, including experience working currently or previously with a bank.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an integration professional with 7+ years of experience who can contribute to enterprise banking technology initiatives and complex integration environments. Candidates must have a notice period of 0–30 days to meet the stated hiring requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise API solutions.
• Design application and system architectures for integration environments.
• Develop and implement application integration solutions within banking environments.
• Design and implement Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.
• Develop and maintain integration solutions using ESQL and Java.
• Work with IBM WebSphere technologies and middleware platforms.
• Develop and support solutions using IBM WebSphere Message Broker.
• Design and implement SOAP and RESTful integration solutions.
• Integrate applications, systems, and services across enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application integration solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams and banking stakeholders on integration requirements.
• Support reliable and scalable integration architecture for banking applications.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in application integration or related technology roles.
• Current or previous banking experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and implementing API solutions.
• Strong understanding of application and system architecture and integration.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing SOA solutions.
• Strong experience with ESQL and Java.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Message Broker.
• Strong experience developing SOAP and RESTful integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture.
• Demonstrated experience working within the banking domain.
• Notice period must be between 0 and 30 days.
• Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, and communication skills.
