Job Overview

ThoughtLabs is seeking a Medior Full-Stack Developer .NET / Angular for a long-term assignment in Belgium. The position is based in Melle and offers the possibility of telework by mutual agreement. The developer will work within an Agile product team responsible for developing, optimizing, testing, releasing, and supporting modern web applications.

The role covers the complete software development lifecycle, from technical analysis and development through testing, releases, and application support. The successful candidate will work with .NET 6+, C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Entity Framework, REST/Web API, Azure, Azure DevOps, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using .NET and Angular.
• Participate in technical analysis and application design activities.
• Develop backend solutions using C# and ASP.NET.
• Build frontend applications using Angular.
• Work with Entity Framework and MVC-based application architectures.
• Develop and integrate REST/Web API services.
• Support WCF and SOAP-based integrations where required.
• Work with Azure cloud services and related infrastructure.
• Use Azure DevOps for development and delivery processes.
• Work with SQL and relational databases.
• Develop and maintain unit tests.
• Participate in application testing and quality assurance activities.
• Support application releases and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Contribute to application optimization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders within an Agile team.
• Use Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Medior Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong experience with .NET 6+, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Experience with Angular 2+.
• Experience with Entity Framework and MVC.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing REST/Web API services.
• Experience with WCF/SOAP integrations.
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Azure API Management, App Services, Service Fabric, and Azure AD B2C is important for this assignment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile team.
• Excellent Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level is required.
