Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer & DBA to take ownership across application development, database administration, deployment, and release management in an on-site role in Qatar. The position requires strong capabilities across both software engineering and database infrastructure, with responsibility spanning development through production deployment.

The successful candidate will work with React.js, .NET/C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, React Native or .NET MAUI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, IIS, and Azure App Services. Strong expertise in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, indexing, backup and restore operations, as well as on-premises and cloud database environments, is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and .NET/C#.
• Design, develop, and maintain application features across the full software development lifecycle.
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Perform SQL Server performance tuning and database optimization.
• Manage database indexing strategies.
• Perform database backup and restore operations.
• Support both Azure SQL and on-premises SQL Server environments.
• Develop and support mobile applications using React Native or .NET MAUI for iOS and Android.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Support DevOps processes and deployment automation.
• Manage application hosting through IIS and Azure App Services.
• Participate in end-to-end SDLC activities.
• Support application releases and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Support continuous improvement of application performance, database reliability, and deployment processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Strong experience with .NET / C#.
• Advanced Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
• Experience with SQL Server performance tuning and indexing.
• Experience managing SQL Server backup and restore processes.
• Experience with Azure SQL and on-premises SQL Server.
• Experience with React Native or .NET MAUI for iOS and Android.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with IIS and Azure App Services.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership across application development, databases, deployment, and releases.

Additional Experience:

• SQL Server Always On.
• Failover Clustering.
• Terraform or Bicep.
• PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• App Store and Google Play Store release management.
