Job Overview

Generic Engineering & Contracting Technologies (GET) is seeking an experienced Electrical Draughtsman to support large-scale infrastructure and construction projects in Qatar. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical design drawings, construction documentation, and the preparation of technical drawings for project execution.

The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation and coordination of electrical drawings and project documentation, ensuring technical drawings accurately reflect project requirements. Experience with large-scale infrastructure and construction projects is important for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical design and construction drawings.
• Develop and update electrical drafting documentation for infrastructure and construction projects.
• Prepare construction-related drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Review electrical drawings and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate drawing requirements with engineering and project teams.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions into project drawings.
• Maintain organized electrical drawing and project documentation.
• Support project teams with accurate and timely drafting deliverables.
• Ensure drawings follow applicable project standards and technical requirements.
• Assist with resolving drafting and drawing-related technical issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in electrical drafting.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction-related project documentation.
• Experience in coding and preparing construction-related drawings.
• Ability to interpret technical and electrical design information.
• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
• Candidates with a shorter notice period will be preferred.
