Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for design and construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role supports baseline development, progress tracking, schedule analysis, forecasting, reporting, and change management.

The successful candidate will manage Primavera P6 schedules, progress measurement systems, procurement and design schedules, critical-path networks, schedule analysis, and recovery planning. The role also involves assessing the schedule impact of design changes, construction delays, and external factors while communicating schedule status to project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project baseline schedules according to project requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, update, and review cost- and resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules.
• Maintain progress measurement, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Update overall project schedules and time- and progress-related tools weekly and monthly.
• Maintain procurement plans, design and submittal schedules, physical progress reports, and related planning tools.
• Develop and maintain critical-path networks and logic relationships.
• Prepare schedule presentations for project stakeholders.
• Analyze project status against approved baselines and identify schedule variances.
• Monitor subcontractor and self-performed resource performance where applicable.
• Update schedules based on actual progress.
• Develop alternative sequences and recovery plans when required.
• Assess schedule impacts resulting from design changes, construction delays, and external factors.
• Prepare and communicate schedule-status reports.
• Support resolution of scheduling issues and provide schedule-related guidance.
• Participate in project schedule review meetings and coordination forums.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–10 years of relevant experience in scheduling, project controls, construction management, or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and professional integrity.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential project and financial information appropriately.
• Willingness to travel or relocate according to project requirements.

Technical Skills & Preferred Experience

• PMI, AACE, or similar professional certification is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Procore, Unifier, or similar project-management systems.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 EPPM or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• ASSTA or Microsoft Project experience is an advantage.
• Experience with large industrial construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of resource loading, Time Impact Analysis, delay/disruption analysis, and change management.
• Experience with cost estimating or cost control is an advantage.
