Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to lead the scheduling function across assigned projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for planning, schedule control, progress monitoring, forecasting, and change management, while managing scheduling resources and providing technical leadership on complex design and construction projects.

The successful candidate will lead Senior Schedulers, Schedulers, and Junior Schedulers while overseeing baseline schedules, cost- and resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules, critical-path analysis, schedule forecasting, recovery plans, and schedule-status reporting. The position also supports Time Impact Analysis, delay/disruption analysis, resource loading, and change-management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Senior Schedulers, Schedulers, and Junior Schedulers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to scheduling professionals.
• Support professional development of scheduling team members.
• Establish and maintain scheduling procedures, standards, templates, and reporting practices.
• Manage workload allocation and scheduling resources based on project priorities and complexity.
• Lead or oversee development and maintenance of project baseline schedules.
• Oversee cost- and resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules.
• Ensure effective progress measurement, monitoring, and reporting.
• Oversee weekly and monthly updates to project schedules and planning tools.
• Maintain or oversee critical-path logic networks and schedule analysis.
• Review project status against baseline schedules and provide forecasts and variance analysis.
• Evaluate subcontractor and self-performed resource performance.
• Develop or approve schedule adjustments, alternative sequences, and recovery plans.
• Assess the impact of design changes, construction delays, disruptions, and external factors.
• Ensure accurate schedule-status reporting to project stakeholders and clients.
• Provide specialist support in resolving complex scheduling issues.
• Oversee schedule review meetings and provide technical input on project planning.
• Support Time Impact Analysis, delay/disruption analysis, resource loading, and change-management activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in scheduling, project controls, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and professional integrity.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential project and financial information appropriately.
• Willingness to travel or relocate according to project requirements.

Technical Skills & Preferred Experience

• PMI, AACE, or similar professional certification is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Hands-on experience with Procore, Unifier, or similar project-management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 EPPM or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• ASSTA or Microsoft Project experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Primavera Risk, Acumen 360, or similar schedule-risk analysis tools is desirable.
• Experience with large industrial construction projects is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Time Impact Analysis, delay/disruption analysis, resource loading, and change management.
• Experience in cost estimating or cost control is an advantage.
