Job Overview

VPS Elite Human Resources Consultancies LLC is seeking an experienced IT Application Support professional to join its client’s IT team in Dubai. The position is suitable for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in IT or application support and strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical support capabilities.

The successful candidate will support business applications, investigate technical issues, monitor applications, and assist with database, API, web application, and system integration-related problems. The role will also involve working with ticketing and monitoring tools and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of application-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for business applications.
• Investigate and troubleshoot application-related incidents and issues.
• Monitor application performance and availability.
• Use ticketing and application monitoring tools to manage and track support requests.
• Troubleshoot SQL and database-related application issues.
• Analyze application errors and identify potential root causes.
• Support APIs, web applications, and system integrations.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and other technical teams when required.
• Maintain accurate incident, problem, and resolution documentation.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams.
• Support application deployments, updates, and production changes where applicable.
• Monitor recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement of application support processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and business users.
• Maintain adherence to IT support procedures and operational standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT or Application Support.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Experience with application monitoring tools.
• Experience with ticketing and IT support tools.
• Understanding of APIs, web applications, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze technical issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• UAE-based candidates are preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
