Job Overview

Tech ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Desktop Migration Engineer to support enterprise end-user computing and desktop migration activities in the UAE. The role is focused on Windows desktop deployment, migration, endpoint management, infrastructure support, and enterprise workplace technology.

The successful candidate will work across Windows 10/11 migration and deployment, SCCM/ConfigMgr, MDT or USMT, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, enterprise backup solutions, and PowerShell automation. Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities will be important for maintaining reliable end-user environments.

This position offers an opportunity for experienced desktop and end-user technology professionals to further develop their expertise in enterprise desktop engineering, Windows migration, endpoint management, Microsoft technologies, automation, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Windows 10/11 migration and deployment activities.
• Provide enterprise-level end-user and desktop engineering support.
• Manage desktop deployment using SCCM/ConfigMgr, MDT, or USMT.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory and Group Policy environments.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP-related issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Exchange environments.
• Implement and support endpoint security and EDR solutions.
• Support Commvault or equivalent enterprise backup solutions.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and administrative tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain reliable and secure enterprise endpoint environments.
• Support migration activities while minimizing disruption to business operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in End User Support or Desktop Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 migration and deployment.
• Experience with SCCM/ConfigMgr, MDT, or USMT.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Exchange support experience.
• Experience with endpoint security and EDR solutions.
• Experience with Commvault or an equivalent enterprise backup solution.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Arabic-speaking capability is mandatory.
• Ability to work in an onsite enterprise environment in the UAE.
