Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and manage KONG API Gateway solutions.
• Develop and configure KONG API Gateway plugins.
• Integrate KONG API Gateway with microservices and backend services.
• Design and support RESTful APIs.
• Work with microservices-based architectures.
• Implement and maintain API security controls.
• Configure API gateway policies and integrations.
• Troubleshoot API gateway and integration issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

• KONG API / KONG API Gateway experience — mandatory.

• Strong hands-on experience with KONG API Gateway.
• Experience with KONG API Gateway plugin development and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of API security.
• Experience integrating KONG API Gateway with microservices and backend services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in enterprise technology environments.
