Job Overview

Talent Arabia is urgently hiring a Senior Platform Engineer for a banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on AWS cloud architecture, AWS Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, AI/ML platform automation, cloud networking, API management, and enterprise banking technology.

The successful candidate will work with AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, EKS, Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Route 53, alongside Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and API management technologies. Direct experience in the Fintech and banking domain is mandatory for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support AWS cloud architecture for enterprise banking environments.
• Build and manage AWS Landing Zones.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automate AI/ML platform infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Work directly with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Manage and support Amazon EKS and Kubernetes environments.
• Configure and manage AWS Lambda and EventBridge services.
• Manage API Gateway and enterprise API management solutions.
• Support Kong API Gateway integrations where applicable.
• Configure and maintain IAM policies and access controls.
• Design and manage VPC networking and cloud connectivity.
• Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch.
• Manage DNS and routing requirements using Route 53.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Support secure and scalable platform engineering practices.
• Collaborate with application, security, DevOps, AI/ML, and infrastructure teams.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment, and platform issues.
• Support cloud environments aligned with banking and Fintech requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience — strictly required.
• Fintech experience — mandatory.
• Banking domain experience is required.
• Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture.
• Experience with AWS Landing Zones.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
• Experience with AI/ML platform automation.
• Direct hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Experience with:

  • Amazon API Gateway
  • AWS IAM
  • Amazon VPC
  • Amazon CloudWatch

• Experience with VPC networking.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, automation, and platform engineering.
