Job Overview

Smart Vision General Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join its Projects section in Baghdad, Iraq. The role is focused on electrical engineering activities at construction sites, with responsibility for supporting project execution, supervising technical teams, coordinating with specialized contractors, and ensuring electrical works are properly managed on site.

The successful candidate will work under the Head of Projects and contribute to the effective delivery of commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical engineering activities at project sites.
• Monitor electrical construction works and ensure proper execution.
• Supervise teams of electrical technicians and coordinate daily site activities.
• Follow up with specialized electrical contractors and subcontractors.
• Review and coordinate electrical drawings and technical requirements.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant electrical design software.
• Prepare technical reports and project correspondence in English.
• Coordinate with the Projects section and Head of Projects regarding site activities.
• Support the implementation of electrical works in commercial construction projects.
• Identify site-related technical issues and contribute to effective solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with project teams and contractors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in site-based commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of electrical design and construction processes.
• Ability to supervise technical teams and coordinate with specialized contractors.
• Good English language proficiency, including the ability to communicate and prepare reports and correspondence in English.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• A personal means of transportation and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Working Hours & Schedule

• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Break: 30 minutes
• Working Days: Saturday to Thursday
• Work Schedule: Six days per week
• Section: Projects
• Administrative Liaison: Head of Projects
