Home Gate Construction is expanding its team and seeking qualified Civil Technical Office Engineers for two specialized positions: Quantity Surveying & Payment Certificates and Shop Drawings. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs for civil construction works.
- Prepare and review payment certificates.
- Manage subcontractor payment documentation.
- Support client payment documentation and submissions.
- Review quantities and supporting documentation for payment applications.
- Assist with contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects.
- Coordinate with project and site teams regarding quantities and commercial documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, payments, and related documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience with BOQ and quantity take-off.
- Experience preparing and reviewing payment certificates.
- Experience with subcontractor and client payment documentation.
- Good understanding of contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Position 2: Civil Technical Office Engineer – Shop Drawings
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil and structural shop drawings.
- Develop drawings in accordance with approved design requirements.
- Coordinate drawings with site conditions and construction requirements.
- Review technical information and identify drawing-related discrepancies.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for construction activities.
- Update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions.
- Maintain organized technical drawing documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in civil and structural shop drawings.
- Good command of AutoCAD.
