Job Overview

Grupo Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior Work Inspector – Materials to support Roads and Infrastructure projects in Qatar. The position is suitable for an engineering professional with at least 5 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years working on Roads and Infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will contribute to materials inspection, quality compliance, and project supervision within a consultancy environment. Consultancy experience and ATM approval are mandatory for this position, along with an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.

This is a 3-month contract opportunity offering professional development through practical exposure to major Roads and Infrastructure projects, materials inspection, quality management, and consultancy-based project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect construction materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor materials used in Roads and Infrastructure projects.
• Review material documentation, approvals, test results, and supporting records.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams regarding material compliance.
• Identify non-conforming materials and support appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with applicable quality management procedures.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Support implementation of project quality requirements and ISO-based processes.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders during material inspection and approval activities.
• Ensure project materials meet required technical and quality standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Roads and Infrastructure projects.
• Consultancy experience is mandatory.
• ATM Approval is mandatory.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
• Must currently be based in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is required.
• Strong knowledge of materials inspection and quality-control procedures.
• Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
