Job Overview

Nair Systems is seeking an experienced Transaction Banking IT Project Manager for its Qatar operations. The position is suited to a banking technology professional with 10–15 years of progressive experience managing complex banking technology and digital transformation projects, with strong exposure to transaction banking platforms, corporate banking systems, and digital banking solutions.

The successful candidate will manage large-scale banking technology initiatives, including legacy system migration to new digital platforms. The role requires experience across data migration strategy, reconciliation, testing, cutover, post-migration stabilization, system integration, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transaction banking technology and digital transformation projects.
• Lead legacy system migration initiatives to new digital banking platforms.
• Develop migration strategies, plans, reconciliation processes, testing activities, and cutover plans.
• Coordinate post-migration stabilization and post-go-live support.
• Manage project planning, governance, budgets, risks, issues, and change control.
• Coordinate with business, technology, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Manage project requirements and support business analysis activities.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Manage vendors and external technology partners throughout project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed scope and timelines.
• Prepare project reports and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure technology initiatives remain aligned with business objectives and banking requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in banking technology project management.
• Strong experience in transaction banking, digital banking, and migration programs.
• Experience managing complex banking technology and digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of transaction banking and corporate banking systems.
• Experience with OBDX or related digital banking platforms.
• Experience with legacy system migration and digital migration programs.
• Strong understanding of data migration, reconciliation, testing, and cutover planning.
• Business analysis and requirements-management experience.
• Strong project governance, planning, risk management, and issue-resolution skills.
• Experience with vendor and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live support.
• PMP-certified project management experience.
• Strong understanding of banking technology transformation.
• Experience managing large-scale banking implementation or migration projects is preferred.
• Ability to join within 2 weeks, with a maximum notice period of 1 month.
