🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of toys, ride-on products, and baby mobility products
- Manage product conceptualization, reverse engineering, and product lifecycle management
- Oversee plastic injection mould, blow mould, and metal mould development processes
- Create CAD models, engineering drawings, prototypes, and validation testing procedures
- Ensure compliance with BIS, EN, ASTM, CPSIA, and global toy safety standards
- Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
- Coordinate with tooling vendors, injection moulders, and overseas manufacturing partners
- Support manufacturing and assembly process improvements
- Manage multi-component product development projects
- Collaborate with design agencies and cross-functional engineering teams
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or Plastics Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in product design and engineering
- Strong expertise in injection moulding, blow moulding, and rotational moulding processes
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA design software
- Experience with product development lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of tooling, mould development, and manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of material engineering and technical product specifications
- Experience with global product compliance and safety standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities
- Experience working with international design agencies is preferred
