Job Overview

A leading company in Saudi Arabia is seeking Building/MEP Inspectors to join its Operations Support Services (OSS) department in Riyadh. The position is suitable for experienced engineering professionals with a background in building maintenance, commercial establishment maintenance, MEP systems, and cost estimation.

The successful candidates will support building and MEP inspection and maintenance activities, helping ensure that facilities and technical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable requirements. The role requires practical experience in building and commercial establishment maintenance, along with relevant engineering knowledge and cost-estimation capabilities.

This opportunity is offered on a yearly contract and provides exposure to large-scale operations and facilities environments. Professionals can develop their expertise through hands-on experience, technical training, professional development, and relevant engineering certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of building and MEP systems and related facilities.
• Support maintenance and operational activities for commercial establishments.
• Identify technical, maintenance, and facility-related issues during inspections.
• Assess building and MEP conditions and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Review maintenance requirements and support planning of necessary works.
• Assist with cost estimation for maintenance, repair, and technical activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and service teams.
• Monitor the quality and progress of maintenance activities.
• Maintain inspection records, technical reports, and relevant documentation.
• Support compliance with applicable safety, engineering, maintenance, and operational requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building and commercial establishment maintenance.
• Relevant experience in cost estimation.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance and MEP systems.
• Good technical inspection, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an operations support and multidisciplinary environment.
• Age requirement stated by the employer: 45 years or below.
• Relevant technical or professional certifications are an advantage.

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth

Basic Salary: SAR 3,700 per month (non-negotiable)

Food Allowance: SAR 300 per month

Housing: Company-provided shared accommodation.

Transportation: Company-provided shared transportation.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days.

Contract: Yearly contract.
