Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Card Settlement & Reconciliation Implementation Consultant to support payment operations and technology implementation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is suited to professionals with strong experience in card payments, settlement, reconciliation, financial operations, and payment system implementation.

The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of the card payment ecosystem, including clearing, settlement, funding, fees, and accounting processes. The role will also involve designing reconciliation frameworks, matching logic, exception handling, and General Ledger (GL) mapping, as well as supporting system integration and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support card settlement and reconciliation implementation initiatives.
• Design and develop reconciliation frameworks and matching logic.
• Define exception handling processes for reconciliation activities.
• Support General Ledger (GL) mapping and accounting processes.
• Analyze card payment settlement and reconciliation requirements.
• Support clearing, settlement, funding, fee, and accounting processes.
• Coordinate system integration activities related to payment solutions.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Contribute to go-live planning and production readiness activities.
• Identify and resolve settlement and reconciliation issues.
• Work with banking, fintech, payment, and technology stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of payment operations and reconciliation processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
  • Card settlement
  • Reconciliation
  • Payments operations
  • Financial operations
• Strong understanding of card payment ecosystems.
• Knowledge of clearing, settlement, funding, fees, and accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience designing reconciliation frameworks.
• Experience with matching logic and exception handling.
• Experience with GL mapping.
• Experience supporting system integration.
• Experience with SIT/UAT.
• Experience supporting go-live and production readiness.
• Experience working with banks, fintech companies, card issuers, processors, or payment service providers.
• Visa/Mastercard experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
