Job Overview

Albadwy Recruitment Global is seeking an experienced Civil Planning Engineer to support major contracting companies and infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is suited to civil engineering professionals with strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, tracking progress, preparing project reports, and coordinating with project teams to support timely and effective project execution. Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants, water networks, and sewerage network projects is particularly relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Track actual progress and identify potential delays, risks, and schedule deviations.
• Prepare regular project progress reports for management and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams.
• Follow up on project activities and ensure planned milestones are monitored effectively.
• Support project teams in identifying schedule-related issues and developing appropriate recovery plans.
• Update and maintain project planning documentation and progress records.
• Monitor critical activities and provide timely updates on project performance.
• Assist in project planning and coordination for infrastructure developments.
• Prepare and manage schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Support project management teams with planning data, reports, and schedule analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in planning and project management.
• Strong professional experience in infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience with water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Experience with water and sewerage network projects.
• Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling, and project progress monitoring.
• Proven ability to prepare and monitor project schedules.
• Strong skills in project progress tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
