Job Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a long-term cloud infrastructure project in Brussels, Belgium. The role focuses on designing, managing, and supporting modern cloud platforms using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, and GitOps practices.

The successful candidate will contribute to cloud infrastructure automation, container orchestration, CI/CD, and data platform technologies including Azure Data Factory and Databricks. The hybrid position provides opportunities for long-term career growth through hands-on experience with cloud engineering, infrastructure as code, DevOps automation, and modern platform engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Support Kubernetes-based cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply DevOps and GitOps practices across cloud infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
• Support cloud platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Work with Azure Data Factory and Databricks environments.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot cloud platform and deployment issues.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure configurations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Professional experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of DevOps and GitOps methodologies.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Strong cloud infrastructure and automation skills.
• English language proficiency is required.
• French and/or Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week onsite in Brussels.
