Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to provide hands-on technical support for AI server systems and modern data center environments in Memphis, Tennessee. The role focuses on server hardware installation, rack and stack operations, hardware troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, maintenance, and system recovery.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex hardware incidents, support preventive measures, and maintain reliable data center operations. Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for AI server systems and data center infrastructure.
• Perform rack and stack activities, hardware installation, maintenance, and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot complex server and hardware issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades and Field Change Orders (FCOs).
• Conduct system health checks and environmental audits.
• Coordinate critical parts and logistics during high-priority incidents.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and recurring issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams on recovery and preventive measures.
• Participate in on-call and extended-hours support when required.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge.
• Support reliable and efficient operation of AI server and data center environments.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Experience

• Proven hands-on experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar technical infrastructure role.
• Experience supporting AI server and data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of Dell PowerEdge server systems.
• Experience with NVIDIA server or AI infrastructure.
• Hands-on rack and stack experience.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience performing firmware upgrades.
• Knowledge of Field Change Orders (FCOs).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and document technical findings.

• Ability to work effectively with engineering and technical teams.
