Danway Saudi Arabia Contracting Company is urgently seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to support and oversee quality compliance for Saudi Energy (SE) substation construction and commissioning projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This position is suited to an experienced electrical quality professional with a strong background in construction, engineering, power plant, industrial, and high-voltage substation projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and implementing electrical quality management activities, coordinating inspections and approvals, and ensuring project electrical works comply with approved specifications, quality standards, procedures, and Saudi Energy requirements. The role requires hands-on experience with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Approvals, NCR management, electrical documentation, and high-voltage substation installation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor electrical QA/QC activities for SE substation construction and commissioning projects.
• Ensure electrical construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project quality requirements.
• Monitor high-voltage substation installation activities and associated electrical works.
• Develop, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Review and implement approved Method Statements for electrical works.
• Coordinate and manage Material Approval processes.
• Conduct and coordinate electrical inspections and quality verification activities.
• Monitor electrical installations for compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Identify, document, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain accurate electrical QA/QC records and technical documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals, and quality activities with clients, consultants, and Saudi Energy representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards and QA/QC procedures.
• Support testing, commissioning, and quality verification activities.
• Provide technical quality guidance to construction and engineering teams.
• Participate in quality meetings, inspections, audits, and project reviews.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of quality issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction quality management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation projects.
• Saudi Energy (SE) Approval as an Electrical QC Engineer is mandatory.
• Strong experience in substation, industrial, or power plant projects.
• Strong background in Electrical Quality Control within construction, engineering, power plant, or industrial sectors.
• Proven experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and Saudi Energy representatives.
• Solid understanding of QMS standards and QA/QC protocols.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage substation installation activities.
• Strong understanding of electrical technical documentation and quality procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ITPs and Method Statements.
• Experience with Material Approvals.
• Proven experience with NCR management.
• Strong documentation, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
