Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to establish, organize, and lead the Accounting and Finance Department for a well-established provider of medical products and healthcare solutions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Finance Manager will play a key leadership role in building a robust finance function that supports business objectives, financial integrity, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. The position will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cost accounting, inventory finance, taxation, audit, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Department Leadership
- Establish and lead the Accounting and Finance Department, including organizational structure and reporting lines.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate finance team members.
- Develop finance policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls.
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Financial Management & Accounting
- Oversee General Ledger, month-end closing, year-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial records.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions where required.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze financial variances.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare financial reports and management presentations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and banking relationships.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee financing activities and optimize cash utilization.
- Identify and manage financial risks.
Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance
- Manage standard costing, product costing, and cost variance analysis.
- Monitor manufacturing and operational costs to improve profitability.
- Support pricing and profitability decisions.
- Work with Operations and Production teams to improve cost efficiency.
Inventory & Supply Chain Finance
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, physical counts, and stock audits.
- Monitor inventory performance and strengthen inventory controls.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
Compliance, Audit & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, ZATCA, VAT, statutory reporting, and corporate governance requirements.
- Lead internal and external audit activities.
- Strengthen financial controls and compliance processes.
- Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory reporting.
ERP Systems & Process Improvement
- Lead ERP implementation and optimization initiatives.
- Drive financial process automation and system integration.
- Improve financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Act as a strategic financial advisor to senior management.
- Support business planning, expansion, and investment decisions.
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs.
- Evaluate business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
- Participate in executive decision-making focused on profitability and sustainable growth.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance leadership position.
- Proven experience establishing, organizing, or restructuring an Accounting and Finance Department.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, distribution, engineering, or project-based organizations is highly preferred.
- Experience implementing or improving ERP systems.
