A well-established engineering consulting firm in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Fire Safety / Fire Protection Engineer to join its professional team. The role is suited to a qualified fire engineering professional with 5+ years of experience in fire safety and fire protection engineering.

The successful candidate must be officially approved by the Saudi Civil Defense and authorized to obtain Civil Defense approvals and certifications for fire protection projects. This is a key requirement for the position, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering and current availability within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support fire safety and fire protection engineering activities for projects.
• Prepare and review fire protection engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Coordinate fire protection requirements with engineering and project teams.
• Manage and facilitate Saudi Civil Defense approval processes.
• Obtain required Civil Defense approvals and certifications for fire protection projects.
• Ensure fire protection designs and project documentation meet applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review project plans and identify fire safety and protection requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on fire protection and life safety requirements.
• Support project teams in resolving fire safety and compliance-related issues.
• Maintain appropriate technical and regulatory documentation throughout project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Fire Safety Engineer or Fire Protection Engineer.
• Official Saudi Civil Defense approval is mandatory.
• Must be authorized to obtain Civil Defense approvals and certifications for fire protection projects.
• Strong understanding of fire safety and fire protection engineering principles.
• Knowledge of applicable Saudi fire safety and regulatory requirements.
• Strong technical documentation and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Currently located in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
