Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Flutter Developer with 3–5 years of dedicated, hands-on Flutter development experience to design, develop, and enhance secure, high-performance mobile applications within a banking environment. The role requires strong expertise in Flutter and Dart, mobile application architecture, API integration, security, and production-grade application development.

The successful candidate will work on large-scale mobile applications across Android and iOS ecosystems, focusing on application performance, secure coding practices, API connectivity, and reliable user experiences. Strong knowledge of state management, asynchronous programming, REST APIs, OAuth/OAuth2, JWT, and mobile security will be essential.

This is a 12-month extendable contract under Marc Ellis payroll, providing opportunities for professional development through exposure to enterprise banking applications, mobile security, CI/CD, automated deployment, application architecture, and large-scale production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Build scalable and maintainable Flutter applications for banking environments.
• Apply appropriate Flutter architecture patterns and state management approaches.
• Work with widget lifecycle and asynchronous programming concepts.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Implement secure API integrations using JSON, OAuth/OAuth2, JWT, and related security mechanisms.
• Develop applications compatible with Android and iOS ecosystems.
• Implement secure coding practices and mobile application security standards.
• Participate in CI/CD processes, automated builds, and application deployment.
• Use Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot application issues and production incidents.
• Perform debugging and performance optimization.
• Support large-scale, production-grade mobile applications.
• Collaborate with technical and development teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated, hands-on Flutter development experience.
• Strong experience developing production-grade mobile applications.
• Experience working with large-scale mobile applications.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Flutter SDK and Dart.
• Strong understanding of Flutter architecture.
• Knowledge of widget lifecycle and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with state management.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with OAuth/OAuth2 and JWT.
• Understanding of API security.
• Good knowledge of Android and iOS development ecosystems.
