Job Overview

Aastha Consulting is seeking an experienced Generation Engineer for an opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is suited to senior engineering professionals with 15+ years of experience and strong expertise in Combined Cycle and Thermal Power Plants and power generation projects.

The successful candidate will contribute to power plant systems and Balance of Plant design and review, procurement documentation, technical proposal evaluation, engineering drawing development, and project coordination. Strong knowledge of boilers and HRSGs, steam and gas turbines, condensers, and pumps is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Power Plant Systems and Balance of Plant design and technical reviews.
• Prepare RFPs and RFQs for new, expansion, and modification projects.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and engineering layouts.
• Review EPC contractor and manufacturer technical proposals.
• Handle technical queries and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Work with power generation systems including:
  • Boilers and HRSGs
  • Steam Turbines
  • Gas Turbines
  • Condensers
  • Pumps
• Support technical coordination throughout project development and execution.
• Review engineering documentation and technical deliverables.
• Apply relevant engineering software and design tools where required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering.
• Strong experience with Combined Cycle and Thermal Power Plants.
• Experience in power generation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Power Plant Systems and Balance of Plant.
• Experience with technical proposal review and EPC coordination.
• Knowledge of boilers/HRSGs, steam and gas turbines, condensers, and pumps.
• Knowledge of CAESAR II, PVElite, E3D, SP3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is preferred.
• Renewable Energy experience is an added advantage.
