A leading stealth-mode FinTech startup in Abu Dhabi is seeking an accomplished Head of AI & Data Science to define and execute its enterprise artificial intelligence strategy. The successful candidate will lead enterprise AI initiatives, establish responsible AI governance, and collaborate with executive leadership, product, engineering, risk, and compliance teams to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s enterprise AI and Data Science strategy.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI and Data Science team.
• Design and deliver AI-powered financial products and intelligent automation solutions.
• Lead the development of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics initiatives.
• Develop AI solutions for fraud detection, credit scoring, customer intelligence, risk analytics, personalization, and intelligent automation.
• Establish AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, model monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Oversee MLOps implementation, model lifecycle management, and production deployment.
• Drive innovation through advanced analytics, experimentation, and emerging AI technologies.
• Ensure compliance with financial services regulations and enterprise governance standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 18–20 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Proven leadership experience building enterprise AI and Data Science teams within FinTech, Banking, Digital Payments, InsurTech, or Technology organizations.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Generative AI
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Machine Learning
  • Deep Learning
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Computer Vision
  • Predictive Analytics
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, machine learning frameworks, cloud AI platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform), MLOps, and model governance.
• Experience establishing responsible AI governance and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Science, or Machine Learning are advantageous.

• AED 60,000 – 65,000 per month
