Job Overview

Raqmiyat is hiring an experienced Java Back-End Developer to contribute to enterprise software development projects in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on developing robust backend applications using modern Java technologies, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure applications using Spring Security.
• Develop database-driven applications using Spring JPA/Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Design and develop REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries.
• Build efficient database solutions and improve database performance.
• Develop backend business logic according to application requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Use Git/GitHub for source-code management and collaboration.
• Work with development tools including IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on enterprise software projects.
• Support application performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Spring Security.
• Experience with Spring JPA / Spring Data JPA.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience in database query development and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA.
• Strong backend business logic development skills.
• Experience with Postman.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
